Large and heavy computer equipment should be placed at the bottom of the box and above a layer of packing paper.

Once the first layer of equipment is in place, make sure to use adequate amounts of packing paper to cover the equipment before you place the second layer of items on top. Lighter items should go on top. Furthermore, make sure to fill in any empty spaces with additional packing paper to keep items from shifting.
