Traveling Abroad

If you are open to other destinations apart from the US, you can find much more affordable hotels in other parts of the world. It's a much cheaper option even when you take into the count the cost of the airplane ticket.

Traveling to Europe can pay off, but only if you go to the right countries. Staying at a 5-star hotel in Paris or Rome, is actually more expensive than staying at one such hotel in Las Vegas. Stay away from those places if you want to save money. Your ideal Euro destination is Ireland!

According to a budgettravel.com article, Ireland is the country with the cheapest hotels in Europe. Unfortunately, there are not hotels in Ireland that have been awarded with 5-stars by the Forbes. If that's your main criteria for selecting a hotel, the Emerald Isle is not your ideal destination.

But, you don't have to go far away from Ireland to find affordable 5-star hotels. The United Kingdom is the place where Europe's cheapest hotel with 5 Forbes' stars is located.

The hotel in question is Coworth Park in Sunningdale, a village less than an hour drive from London. You will need to pay about $330 per night to spend a night at this hotel.
