For both eBay and PayPal, you are required to have an active email account from any provider. For example, Yahoo, AOL, MSN, Gmail, etc. Any one of them will work just fine.

Once you have an email set up, or have one already, signing up for a free account with eBay and PayPal will be almost finished until you create a password for both of them.

Click on to "Sign in" if you have a account already made, but if you do not have one, then you make one by selecting "Register."
