I am a member of the Conscious Business Coalition and today when I was in one of our Academy sessions, we were talking about giving gifts to people to sign up on your email newsletter. It is common to give people a gift of some kind as an incentive to sign up. This is also known as a lead magnet or also "an opt-in bribe." LOL

People who are given bitcoin understand it faster than trying to conceptualize bitcoin. It becomes much more tangible to them. My sudden insight was for those of us who are trying to spread and evangelize bitcoin, why not give them bitcoin?

Why did I choose Coinbase for this tip?

I think Coinbase is one of the easiest to use wallets for the mainstream who know nothing about bitcoin yet. I wanted things to be as simple as possible. Yet, have the ability to use an API as well.
