Our application both autosaves your content, and lets you manually save changes at your leisure. Even though our app is built to autosave your work, we recommend that you always hit the save button in the content footer before navigating to a new Section or Page within your Guide.
As you may have noticed, there is a status indicator built into our header bar within the Guide editor that provides real-time information on your content, and the last time it was saved. You should see a message that reads "Saved 00:00 AM/PM" at some point. If you see the "Saved" text, your content has been saved; however, it's important to pay attention to this status bar.
Occasionally, the bar may display "Saving...", and it's important to note that our server, during that time, is saving your content to our database. Don't navigate to a new Section or Page during that time, as you could interrupt or even corrupt the data save taking place automatically.

The Guides application saves content automatically at timed intervals, so it's important to hit the 'Save' button at the bottom of the content page once you've finished working on your content.

You don't want to get stuck between the period when autosave initiates and loading a new page. You could lose content.
Always hit the 'Save' button before editing a new Section or Page.
