Proof of Membership

Proving Membership to Customers: If you need to prove your membership to a customer, direct them to the HPCN Search Tool. All members are displayed in the search tool results within 7 days of becoming members.

Proving Membership for Rebate Programs: Program partners of the HPCN are automatically notified of all HPCN memberships; if your customer is applying to a participating rebate program, they will be able to select your company from a drop-down list of eligible members.

Membership Number: The HPCN does not assign membership numbers. There are currently no rebate programs that require a membership number from the HPCN. If you come across a request for a membership number, for example from the Canada Greener Homes Initiative, this is not asking for an HPCN membership number as membership in the HPCN is not required for non-partner programs.

Digital Certificate: If you require/want a digital certificate to confirm or show off your HPCN membership, email hpcn@homeperformance.ca to request your certificate.
