The building envelope separates the indoors from the outdoors. It is our shelter from the exterior elements.

The building envelope include the following components:

• Roof/Ceiling (only top floor ceiling)
• Exterior Walls
• Windows and Doors
• Headers/Rim Joists
• Basement Concrete Walls
• Basement Floors
• Overhanging Floors

The house is also influenced by the local climate and it's surrounding environment.
