For Existing Houses

EnerGuide Rating System - EGEH

What is EnerGuide for Existing Houses?

All the same objectives as for new houses, but a focus on a pre-evaluation of the home to produce a renovation up-grade report to the home owner. This will have multiple recommendations that are prioritized based on homeowner feedback, and which measures are the most energy efficient and feasible. After the renovation occurs, there is a post-evaluation to determine how effective the renovation was. This includes a second blower door test to evaluate the air-tightness of the home.
