The time of day and location where you release your message matters!
Use the following infographic to plan your posting attack to maximize your return on your tweet, pin, tumble, and post: Social Media Posting Infographic (Frink, Entrepreneur.com).
Strategically post to various platforms throughout the day to round out your message and to capture your audience in a variety of ways.
The days of being able to depend on one platform are over. Brands are now finding that their engagement levels on Instagram are far greater than the interaction that they are receiving from their Facebook posts (Truong, Fastcompany.com).
Remarkably, it was recently identified that Instagram posts receive 90% of their activity (likes and comments) within 10 hours of posting, but the final 10% of activity extends for a much longer period of time. (Truong). This extended activity period is one that is rarely found on other social platforms as posts are often quickly buried in news feeds.
Typically, brands post to Instagram 1.5 times per day. However, posting can increase to over 20 times a day during special events (Truong).
It can be easy to underestimate the power of diversifying the types of posts and platforms that you utilize. However, this mistake can be costly.
Do not miss out on engaging with your audience simply because you are using a limited number of platforms to reach them.
