Leveraging Your Affiliate Links

In Your Autoresponders

Whenever you are creating your marketing funnel, think about the types of products, services or businesses that you could refer those specific people to. For example: if you created a free teleclass on copywriting, you may want to refer them to a copywriter in a follow-up e-mail and then perhaps to a service like Submit Your Article so that they can distribute the articles they have the copywriter write.

Again, you want to be thinking about creating value for your audience and providing them with helpful solutions.

In Blog Posts

I use affiliate links all of the time inside of blog posts and I always add a disclaimer that the links included are affiliate links and I may earn commission if they click through and purchase. However, I always like to add that all opinions are still 100% my own and I only recommend products and services that I use, love and trust.

There are two ways that you can include affiliate links in blog posts. One way is to include them inside of a blog post that is not about the referred product or service but compliments it nicely and the second way is to write a review entirely about that product or service.

Let's first look at the blog post that is not about the referred product or service. Here, you may want to create a blog post on "Setting Up Your Online Business Accounting System" and provide a how-to on setting that system up. Inside of this post, you may want to link to various services that exist when setting these systems up. These links may or may not be affiliate links.

In the review post, you simply write an honest review of the product, service or business and link out to them using your affiliate link. This is also a great way to start forming an expert opinion on related products and services in your industry.

In Your Products

You can also use affiliate links inside of your products. Whenever it makes sense to reference a product, service or business inside of one of your products (or your programs, audio programs, e-courses, etc.) do so! This will help that business get more exposure and it will help you earn affiliate revenue for touting another business' wares.
