LinkedIn won't let you share your personal status directly to groups anymore (which you shouldn't skip over), but there is a way around it. I'm a contributor to Forbes and I can go to my latest article and click on the LinkedIn share button like this:

From this point, you can click "Post To Group" in order to get the extra drop-down menu. You can they being tying the name of your group (or groups) and then click share. You can also do this directly from your own site, so get social sharing buttons on it if you don't have them yet.
