Getting your dream job through LinkedIn comes down to 2 things: profile and connections.
Your profile must showcase your authority, skill set, and that seems like an expert. Think like a hiring manager. By that I mean, if you saw two profiles, the first had a headline that says something like: "Currently looking for my next position as head of marketing"; and the second says: "Leading expert authority in online marketing and social media". Which one would you hire?
Just go back to the first milestone and keep the same formula about Who You Are, Who You Help, and How You Help Them.
The second thing is to make sure you're accepting all contacts. The bigger your network, the bigger your opportunities. By clicking on the "Jobs" tab and doing a general search, you'll find job postings and which of your connections can refer you. It's fairly simple to then ask ones of those connections to make an introduction for you.
