Updating your WordPress password periodically is key to securing your website and stopping unauthorized access.

1. Type http://yourdomainname.com/wp-admin
2. Type your current Username in the dialogue box
3. Type your current password in the dialogue box
4. Hover over the "Users" menu item and click "All Users"
   
   
5. Hover over the username you wish to update the password for and click "Edit"
   
   
6. Type your new password in the "New Password" box and be sure to use a strong password. Once you have typed your new password click "Update User"
