Great question! After logging in you will see the WordPress
dashboard. This was created to be a helpful tool for displaying all
of the most important information about your site in one place. You
may not have much here now, but as your site grows, it will fill
up!! For the mean time, let's define some of the menu items on the
left.
- Posts: Does your website have a blog? If so
this is where you will add, delete, and modify your posts.
- Media: Just about every image on your website
is stored in in the media menu. Here you will be able to add,
delete, resize and rename any image on your page.
- Pages: Every visible webpage on your site from
your home page, to about us page is created and designed here. When
you want to add new content or modify existing content. Here is
where you will do it.
- Comments: Moderating the public's comments on
your blog or website pages is key to managing your websites brand.

- WooCommerce: Have an e-commerce site? If so,
you will be able to modify the settings and configuration of in in
this menu.
- Products: This is where you will add and
modify the products sold in your e-commerce store.
- Appearance: Want to change the color of all of
the text on your website? You can do it here in the Advanced
Appearance menu.
- Plugins: This is how you can add functionality
to your website.
- Users: Adding users in this menu is the
easiest and safest way to allow others access to your website.
- Settings: Change some of the default setting
in WordPress here.
