Integrate With Social Media Profiles

Are you tired of manually updating your friends and followers counter whenever you gain more friends? I figured so, this guide will show you how to integrate your website with social media networks so it will update automatically!

  1. Login to WordPress
  2. Click "Easy Social Share Buttons" on the left column of the screen
  3. Click "Social Following (Fans Counter)" button on the menu near the center left of the screen

  4. Click "Social Networks" button on the menu near the center left of the screen

  5. Let's start with Facebook.You will need two pieces of information, a Page ID number and a Access token. To find your page id type www.facebook.com/yourpagename in your browser address bar.
  6. Click the "About" button

  7. Click the "Page Info" button

  8. Your Page ID will be listed near the bottom of the page

  9. Highlight the "Facebook Page ID " and press Control + C to copy
  10. Paste the "Facebook Page ID" into Easy Social Share Buttons by pressing Control + V

  11. To begin the process of creating a access token Type https://developers.facebook.com into the address box of your browser
  12. Highlight the "My Apps" button and click "Add A New App "

  14. Type a custom name into the field, and then click "Create New Facebook App ID "

  15. Under the Category field click "Apps for Pages " and then click "Create App ID"

  16. Click the "Skip Quick Start" button

  17. Hover over the "Tools & Support" tab, and click "Graph API Explorer"

  18. Hover over "Get Token" button and click the "Get Page Access Token"

  19. Click "Okay" button
  20. Click "Okay" button
  21. Highlight and Copy Access Token by pressing Control + C
  22. Paste Access Token into Easy Social Share Buttons by pressing Control + V
