In the newer MS office version i.e. MS Office 2016 (or later) and Office 365, you can convert PDF to Word easily using MS Word 2016 or MS Word 365. It should work also work in the later version, while in the earlier versions, you might struggle to find this feature.
For the documents you want to convert, right click on the document and open the document with MS Word 2016. See the screen shot below:
At the time of opening the document, it will ask you to convert the pdf document to editable word format, click ok and continue.
Your PDF document has been converted to a Word document. Now follow the earlier described steps.
If you don't have MS Office 2016 or MS Office 365 you can also convert PDF to word using One Drive online.
