Sheathing Tape is made of a UV resistant polypropylene film and Acrylic adhesive. This tape is used for sealing the joints or seams in weather barrier membranes. It is very important to note that this red sheathing tape is not approved as a sealant for polyethylene . Therefore, it can only be used as a temporary fastener.
