9.25.2.4.(4) Installation of Loose-Fill Insulation

  • Loose-Fill Insulation in Walls
    • Must not settle after installation
    • Covered by a membrane that can be seen through
    • Must not bulge or interfere with interior finishes
    • Do not add water unless it will not affect other materials in the wall
  • Water repellent loose-fill insulation can be used between courses in masonry cavity walls
