3.1.1.1.(10) requires a building with a walkout basement to have the exterior basement wall thermal performance be at the same level as the above grade walls for:

(a) the basement wall containing the door opening

(b) the basement wall with an exposed area greater than 50% of that basement wall area.

3.1.1.1.(11) Exterior building envelopes or envelopes that separate conditioned space from unconditioned space must meet the values specified in 3.1.1.2. and 3.1.1.3.
