Cold Customer Interview Email

What it is

Getting customers on the books to interview is really hard. And sometimes we can't leverage a screener to help with this - especially in the B2B space. So we need to identify and book our interview candidates in one shot. Wording your cold email appropriately is critical. How do you ask someone for their help, when you have nothing to offer them yet? We have a few best practices:

  • Try to include something personal in the email to reduce the risk of feeling "blasty".
  • De CRYSTAL clear on the problem, even if it's smaller than what you want to talk about.
  • Stress you want them to teach you something or you want them to share their opinion.
