Virtual Showcasing

A solution to this is to create a virtual showroom using VR. Having a digital space to showcase your products can bring the benefits of having a physical showroom, without the limitations of being rooted in a specific physical location and sky-high rental costs. Potential customers can step into a virtual showroom experience you have created and curated - simply by putting on a VR headset or opening a page on their web browser.

With a VR virtual showroom, interactive features (such as the opportunity to personalise the virtual showroom's ambience, décor and lighting) can be added, allowing users to intuitively browse through your products or services at their own preferred pace. These features can be extremely useful when selling furniture and interior fittings, as it lets customers gain a better sense of how these products could fit into the context of their own homes.

A more structured approach is to have 'virtual sales assistants' whereby employees are present in VR along with the client. Using virtual avatars, they can guide customers through a virtual showroom, provide more details on specific products and demonstrate how they function. As well as making it easier to direct the viewer's attention towards key products, this also brings a level of personal interaction that a simple virtual showroom would otherwise lack.
