The principles of Passive House building are not difficult to understand, but the proper planning, execution and demonstrable proof of performance require a decent amount of training, experience and a steady hand to guide you through the tough parts.
Most of the information contained within this Guide is derived from my personal training through the Canadian Passive House Institute, and the very capable tutelage of Malcolm Isaacs, Sonia Zouari and Tomaz Stich. I have paraphrased the knowledge gained from this training and, in translating to 'plain English', I have omitted some of the more complex math and building science for the sake of compacting the message.
