In this webinar, learn about Privacy & Artificial Intelligence. This webinar is part of the Open Smart Fundamentals: Community Solutions Webinar Series, which features six webinars on key topics for open smart cities. In this series there will be four webinars offered in English and two in French.

First, Nasma Ahmed of Digital Justice Lab talked about protecting resident data and privacy as municipalities ramp up their use of technology and data collection practices. Next, Ana Brandusescu of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Montreal provided an introduction to artificial intelligence, discussing the role of machine learning and algorithms in local governments today.

The remaining time (approximately 30 minutes) was reserved for questions and answers.
