The Program Registered Contractors (PRC) initiative has transitioned to the Home Performance Contractor Network (HPCN).

The transition for Heat Pump PRCs was completed July 1, 2022.

The transition for Insulation & Air Sealing PRCs was completed April 1, 2023.

Background

The Program Registered Contractor (PRC) network was established by BC Hydro and FortisBC to support contractors in the residential retrofit business. Their focus was to support contractors to make energy efficient heat pump and insulation upgrades.

If you were previously an Heat Pump or Insulation PRC, this Guide is meant for you. Keep reading to learn more about important changes that impact your membership.

The PRC program is now closed. New enrollments in the PRC are now closed. If you are not currently an existing PRC, visit our regular HPCN Guide and register directly with the HPCN instead.
