Hygiene Marketing

Hygiene Marketing is all about the standards that you set for the business and the way in which your business is viewed and how you deliver the service. It is the physical display that the business is professional, expert, reliable and cares about the product and hence the customer.

For example, you wouldn't open your shop with a dirty floor, smudged windows, products just stuffed anywhere on any shelf or floor or left in boxes, with rubbish everywhere, with impolite staff badly dressed, dirty hands etc...... you get the picture!

So, you need to set some rules and standards about how the company will look, how the employees are dressed and personal hygiene standards. Dirty vans and cars are not acceptable neither is a causal attitude towards the workplace or customers.

The 'rules' you set need to have a purpose and the employees must understand why they are necessary. Customers will notice, first impressions are important but so is your ability to deliver on-going consistent experience.
