This play concentrates on the marketing that you do every day
and will contribute to delivering the sales and marketing targets.
On the other hand campaign marketing is to enable you to 'spike'
sales upwards at specific times and for specific reasons.
You can spilt this into 2 sections:
- The underlying product range and customer service that you
provide. This will include the on-going management of consistent
product quality and service delivery times. Addressing any
complaints, developing new products, monitoring the market and
customers . Tracking your KPIs and making suitable
adjustments.
- The increasing importance of social media means that just about
everything is immediate. So, you need to ensure that you schedule
time for regular activities. These could include: social media
postings, regular blogs, newsletters, web site updates, employee
communications, e-mail campaigns etc.
I find the best way to ensure that I keep to what ever schedule
I have decided upon is to use a calendar. The important thing is to
have a robust process so that you don't miss anything!
