4.1.1 Describe ladder safety protocol
- Ladder should be the right type and be in good condition, and regularly inspected
- Set up the ladder properly: secured base, slope between 1:3 and 1:4, extended 3' above landing, locked spreader arms, away from high traffic area and power lines
- Climb properly: hands empty, face the ladder with 3-point contact, avoid working while on the ladder
