For non-technical, do-it-yourself folks, like myself and my dad
there are three options for a good real estate website builder.
- Free Basic Website
Builders Included With Paying For Hosting - Many Web
hosting companies like GoDaddy also offer Free Website
building tools when you purchase one of their hosting packages.
While these are the easiest to use, it is hard to create a
professional looking website using these basic tools.

- Inexpensive
Subscription Services - There are a number of website
builders out there designed for non-technical users. Two of the
most popular being Weebly.com and Wix.com. They offer
templates where it is relatively easy to add text and include your
own images . If you want your own domain (which all small
businesses should have) then they cost around $15 a month including
hosting.

- Buying A WordPress
Theme - WordPress is a full fledged
content management software that sites ranging from individual
store owners to the NYTimes.com rely on. This option offers the
most flexibility as you can have a web designer build a site from
scratch on wordpress, but they also offer thousands of free
templates which non technical users can easily customize
themselves. Wordpress is free and there are a lot of free templates
out there. For most businesses sites however you are going to want
to upgrade to a professional template which costs around $50 to
$100 as a one time fee.
