• Ceiling Label:
  • Use this field to assign an identifying label to the ceiling (e.g. "Main house", "Addition" etc.)
  • •use multiple ceilings when construction or insulation is different or upgrading different areas
• Construction:
  • either attic/gable, attic/hip, cathedral, flat or scissor.
• Ceiling Type:
  • ceiling construction used to calculate the thermal resistance of the assembly. Select a User-defined(rare) or Favourite Code, or use the Code Selector.
  • When using the Code Selector for modelling, make selections from all applicable drop downs to define the house component.
  • Use Insulation Layer 1 to model framing cavity insulation and Insulation Layer 2 to model a continuous layer of insulation.
