The EnerGuide Rating System underpins the delivery of Natural Resources Canada's Housing Programs and is a rating system defining the present or designed state of the home.

ENERGY STAR for New Homes and R-2000 are standards that have criteria thresholds that must be met for labelling with energy efficiency goals of performance beyond Building Code.
