• Written notice(email or mail) is sent to REA and SO of issue and notice of intent to suspend
• 30 days to response
• Written decision sent; suspension period determined by NRCan
• REA may not preform duties while under suspension
• SO must submit any outstanding files from suspended REA with 30 days
• Suspension due to non-compliance will precede deregistration
• Re-activation if remedial action is successfully completed, suspension stays on record
