The above image is an example of how the Option Menu Toolbar
will look when you select a text field element. The toolbar is
divided into five sections, as described below.
- Field
Type
The element type for a text field can
either be a Single Line Field or a Multi Line
Field. Other element types you may encounter are
Checkbox and Radio Button.
- Field Label
The element label is a
custom label which you can specify for a field element. An element
label will make it easier for you to identify the field when, for
example, viewing the submission data in the
Pipeline or when you export the submission data as
a CSV file.
- Element
Actions
Element Actions enable you to quickly perform
common actions on the field element. The five icons in the toolbar
represent the following actions: fill in, make required, resize,
duplicate, and perform calculations.
- Assign Element
An element can be
assigned to a specific signer from the toolbar as well. Just click
the "Assign to" drop-down menu and a list of signers for the
current SeamlessDoc will appear. Select a signer and the field
element will only be available to fill in for the specified
signer
- Field
Settings
From the Field Settings section, you
can open up an Advanced Field Settings panel for the selected
element, delete the element, or save the changes made.
The Advanced Field Settings gives you the ability to customize the
field label and its type, set the default text that should appear,
format the font, and enable field validation and field
encryption.
