Add-Ons are additional features or customizations you can enable for the entire SeamlessDoc. Hovering over the Add-Ons tab in the Settings Toolbar will bring a dropdown menu, like the one below.
Auto-Detect Fields
When you
initially upload a document to use as a SeamlessDoc, you'll have
the option to Auto-Detect the Fields. What that means is that a
smart algorithm goes through your document and identifies all the
elements that are fillable. It then automatically adds the
appropriate elements to those fields so you don't have to manually
add a text field, for example, to every fillable part of your
SeamlessDoc.
Enable/Disable
Wizard
Enabling and Disabling the Wizard can be
done easily from the Add-Ons menu. Enabling the Wizard will
redirect you to the Form Builder where you can add Form Elements to
your SeamlessDoc. For more information on using the Wizard, please
refer to the Wizard section in our guide.
Import from Data
Source
Importing from a data source enables you
to automatically populate the fields on your SeamlessDoc using the
data from your Custom Relationship Management (CRM) service.
Enabling the Add-On will take you to a web form where you can provide more information
about your specific use case. Once you submit the form, we will
contact you and set up the integration with your CRM software (ie.
SugarCRM or Salesforce).
Add Cover
Letter
You have the ability to add a cover
letter to any of your SeamlessDocs. This cover letter will be
specific to that SeamlessDoc URL and will allow you to include a
set of instructions or a message that the submitter will see prior
to filling out your SeamlessDoc. You can also add an
acknowledgement box that the user must check off, indicating that
he/she has read the message prior to clicking next.
Add Request Attachments
If
you ever need supporting documentation upon the submission of one
of your SeamlessDocs, then you can enable the Request Attachments
Add-On. After enabling the add-on, a modal will appear where you
can add a Title, a message, an Attachment Name and its
assignee.
After clicking Done, a button will appear in live mode at the bottom of your SeamlessDoc, which users can use to upload any necessary attachments.
