Inviting Contributors

To invite a non-member, for example a client, student or friend external* to your Organisation, go to the Space and click the Invite button. Any admin, or if the option to allow contributors to invite people has been enabled, can invite new contributors.

The invitee will receive a notification in their email. New users will need to sign up first, existing users will also be prompted next time they log in. Both existing and new user will be asked if they want to add the Space to their Organisation (or set one up). So if you want to invite a whole company, all you have to do is invite your contact there.

Inviting

When selecting Invite, new people can be added by entering their email address.


When entering an email address or a name, once the value is correct, a drop down box will appear below the text field:

You must click on this email to add the person to the list of invites. If you don't click on it, the person / email address will not be invited.

Invite as Admin

You can also invite them as an admin (all people will be given admin access.. if you don't intend this, deselect admin and you can upgrade users to admin once they have accepted the invitation).

Add a custom note

Enter a custom note to your invitation that will be included in the email invitation (optional) and click on the "invite people" button. Invited members will receive an email from you and a link to accept the invitation.

*all members of your Organisation will already have access to the Space,. Upgrade to Teams to create invite only Private Spaces.
