All of the themes can be customized in the theme settings in the store admin. Here are some features that are common to most themes:

• Display store name or upload a logo: All themes offer you the choice of displaying the store name in text or uploading a logo for your store. I uploaded a logo for the imposters store as you saw. For the text option, often you will be able to choose the font color and sometimes the font used.
• Select store colors: Many of the colors used in the theme can be customized. Each theme offers slightly different options but broadly speaking you will be able to choose colors for: headings, normal text, links, buttons and the overall background for the page.
• Select store fonts: Most themes offer some choice when it comes to fonts. You may be able to change the font for headings or for other elements in the theme. Sometimes the theme designers will present you with a choice of fonts that they think work well with the theme.
• Choose background image or pattern:A different background image or pattern can radically change the look and feel of your store. Many themes provide a selection of background images or patterns, or allow you to upload your own. You might remember there was a background pattern on the imposters store.
• Include drop-down store navigation:The majority of themes now offer store navigation with drop-down menus. This is a great way to help the visitor navigate directly to many pages in the store, from every single page. Plus it doesn't take up much room on the page, as it folds away neatly when not in use. The styling of the menu can also be controlled in the theme settings for some themes.
• Customize store homepage:For most stores, the homepage will be the most visited page so it's very important that it makes a great impression. It should be designed to entice your visitors deeper into your store. Most themes permit the customization of a number of elements on the homepage. For example, you can show a certain number of products from a collection of your choice, or display some text from one of your pages. Often the themes will allow you to select the main image on the homepage, if there is one, or to display a slideshow of images.
• Display social media icons:Social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest have exploded in usage over the last few years. These sites enable their users to share and discuss what interests them. For a store owner, being present on these sites can provide a lot of opportunity and best of all, they are often free. Most themes enable you to display a set of icons that link through to your store's presence on the social media sites, for example your Facebook page. Many themes also provide buttons so that your visitors can easily share your products, blog articles, etc.
• Display payment methods:All themes allow you to select which methods of payment you want to display on your store. These are displayed as small badges, often in the footer or sidebar.
