Girish Mathrubootham, CEO
Girish is the founder and CEO of Freshdesk, and is in a permanent state of Sahelu with customers. He is also the official Foosball Champ at Freshdesk (though he sometimes loses out on revenge games, just for the kicks). When he isn't conjuring up interesting product ideas, talking to investors, or beating little children at Foosball, he loves walking around the floor and being the Guy with the Answers.
Girish comes with over 15 years of experience in making and marketing best-in-class enterprise IT management software, and a pedigree of having some of the happiest customers in the world. Before starting Freshdesk, Girish was the VP of Product Management at the ManageEngine division of Zoho Corp.
Shan Krishnasamy, CTO
Shan is one of those people that thinks databases, dreams architecture, and believes every line of code should read like a piece of classic literature. He enjoys watching movies that were made before most people alive today were born. When he isn't coding, reviewing code, drinking tea or quoting people with names others can hardly pronounce, Shan enjoys driving a few hundred miles to get a cup of coffee. "Because he can"
Before he co-founded Freshdesk, Shan worked with Girish for over 8 years as a Technology Architect. Our CTO today, he takes care of everything from server hosting, planning capacity requirements, driving product development to being that light at the end of the tunnel for all Freshdesk Rails Ninjas. With a decade of experience in churning out smart code and smarter coders, it isn't about the age anymore... It's the mileage.
