There are so many myths
associated with hiring people with disabilities. You name it, it's
probably been said. But here are three major ones that need to be
addressed head on:
- Workers with disabilities are
more likely to have accidents or hurt themselves on the
job
- Employees with disabilities will
under-perform their colleagues who do not have disabilities and
will become a drain on resources by requiring added supervision or
special allowances
- The costs associated with hiring
people with disabilities are too high for most businesses to
