Now comes the process of rebuilding that process and identifying the mix of people, contractors and suppliers to fulfill each task.
You need to think pragmatically about the best person for a particular task; I don't actually suggest prioritizing the existing team as a rule because that to some extent defeats the purpose. I'm not suggesting mass redundancies here but rather filling existing team members schedules with work they want to do and work ONLY they can do. This may mean they have a temporarily reduced workload and the company now has the capacity to grow again.
It can seem counter-productive to pass off a miniscule task to someone halfway across the world but if this is something that consistently needs doing (in particular if it is being done across the team) then after you get over the initial hump of having a new step in the process everything becomes streamlined and the time savings can often be incredible.
