Facilitate Interactions

Everyone knows that already. You cannot be online without being on social media. Social media are here to make it easier for your customers to speak to you, but also for you to reach out to customers.

The key here is not to be everywhere. Ok, you should create a social media account on all platforms with your brand name just to secure the name and so that no one pretends to be you online.

But the goal here is to be accessible, to share content, and to provide customers what they want. So pick a few key social media platforms that corresponds to your audience and target market.

For example, you might want to focus on Facebook if you are selling consumer products, and emphasize on your LinkedIn actions if you are doing B2B. Each platform has its specificities, its own audience, its rules and guidelines, and of course advertising capabilities.

Create as many points as possible for your customers to reach out to you: from your website, your blog, your social media pages, etc.

Another important thing when it comes to interaction with your audience, is what you share with your audience. Is the content you share relevant? Does it make your audience want to react via comments and shares? Is it engaging enough?
