Using The Header Manager

A request, sent to the server from a client (browser), will deliver header information, along with other data, to the server. With JMeter, the HTTP Header manager can store the header information (ex: Cache control, accept language, keep-alive, referrer, user agent, etc.).

A header manager looks like this:

Many professionals create global headers during the scripting process that will act as headers for all requests sent to the server.

You can also add a name like 'load-test', so on the server side, the tester will be able to find the exact number of requests made by the load test.
