Ivory Madison

Ivory Madison is the founder and CEO of Red Room, a global online community, social media platform, and book/ebook store for thousands of successful authors, including Amy Tan and Salman Rushdie. Red Room has been featured on the cover of Publishers Weekly as the "Facebook for Authors," in Vanity Fair, and in O: The Oprah Magazine.

Before Red Room, Ivory earned a juris doctorate, and ran a management consulting practice working with startups, like Serena and Lily, and Fortune 500 companies, like Gap, Inc.

Ivory's business background is combined with her expertise in teaching and facilitating writing. She was named "Best Writing Coach" by San Francisco Magazine, and has delivered several keynote addresses on writing and entrepreneurship at Stanford University.

In her spare time, Ivory wrote the Batman-related graphic novel Huntress: Year One for DC Comics, named "Best Graphic Novel of the Decade" by one random person on Twitter.
