David has been at the intersection of tech and politics since 1995, when he created a campaign finance disclosure cited by the Wall Street Journal as one of the best political resources in California.
His efforts in creating USA.gov, the official website and search engine for the United States Government, earned Harvard's John F. Kennedy School's "Innovations in American Government" Award and was named USA Today's Site of the Year for 2000. Following this David returned to the Silicon Valley where he was on the founding team of a number of other non-political startups before eventually returning his primary passion with Votizen.
