Every day I'm struck with new ideas, whether they're for a new writing project, an article I know that would resonate with a wide audience or something that would help keep my family life flowing.
The problem with ideas is that until they are acted upon, they are just ideas-and aren't worth much more than the thought they were initially given.
Before we really dive into this section, let's do a mini exercise.
Grab a sheet of paper and write down as many ideas as you can think of. They could be ideas that you've been putting on the back burner for sometime. They could be ideas that you've got in progress. They could be ideas that you haven't even thought of yet ... at least not until now. It doesn't matter. Just write them all down on the sheet of paper in any way, shape, or form that you'd like. We'll be coming back to them later, so keep them close at hand.
So if you find that you are an "idea machine" that churns out so many ideas that you can't possibly find time for them all, how do you know when to move forward on one?
