Do's And Don'ts

After getting tattooed, you'll see some swelling. That's normal. Your skin may also produce a clear liquid as the skin starts to heal. The tattoo will also start to scab.

While this will be itchy, remember not to pick at it! You don't want to get bacteria into your tattoo or damage the tattoo.

If the tattooed area keeps on hurting, Ibuprofen is the best choice. You should always go see a doctor if there is a lot of pain or if the skin becomes irritated or infected.
