• They poop A LOT
• They are nocturnal but you need to play with them in the day anyway
• At least 1 hour of playtime [listed right above] each day
• They need a really big cage
• Chinchillas can't be family pets. Only one caretaker, but you can still have siblings in the house, but just they can't take care of him\her too
• They're teeth grow 2 inches a year, so they need a lot of chew toys
• As you know, they're from the mountains so they need ledges in their cage
• They're the softest animal in the world
• They need a special "dust bath" made from volcanic ash
