By now you should have enough traffic to your landing page that you have some baseline metrics. Using basic landing page metrics this milestone helps you improve and refine your landing pages.

A lot of people like to focus on A/B testing landing pages to death. A/B testing can certainly help, and this guide covers it, but....

  • The source of your traffic matters a lot. If you aren't driving the right people to your landing page then it's not going to convert well.
  • You need enough traffic to a landing page for A/B testing to give you great results. If you aren't getting at least 100 unique visits a day it's going to take a long time to get valid test results. Focus on traffic first.
