1. Go to the Actions menu.
2. Click on New Report.
3. Choose Tasks from the menu.
4. Enter a name for the report.
5. Click on Next.
6. Choose Start with a blank layout or report.
7. Click on Next.
8. Click on Next.
9. Highlight the text that says My Report and rename it "This
week's calls" or whatever you want to name your report.
10. Click on the Define your report area and delete it by hitting
delete on your keyboard.
11. Click on the Table item and drag it into the strip.
12. Choose the Task object from the database.
13. Double click on Complete Date.
14. Choose is. (or whatever date range you want).
15. Choose This week. (or whatever time frame you want).
16. Double click on Category.
17. Choose is.
18. Enter the EXACT name (case counts) of the Categories that you
want.
19. Click + to repeat until you have all of the categories that you
want to track.
20. Click on Columns.
21. Click on Configure Columns.
22. Scroll down to Owner.
23. Double click on Username.
24. Choose your sort order. (In this case Ascending.)
25. Scroll up to Category.
26. Double click on Name.
27. Choose your sort order. (In this case Ascending.)
28. Double click on Complete Date.
29. Set the sort that you want. Ascending will go forward in time.
Descending will go backwards in time.
30. Double click on Duration.
31. Double click on "All Contacts as String".
32. Scroll down to Title and double click it.
33. Click on OK.
34. Click on the square on the lower left corner and drag it down and to the right so it fills up the outer blue box. (example in next screen shot.
35. Drag the boxes to the right of column until you get your columns lined up as you like.
36. Click Preview to run the report.
37. Click the red button to close the preview.
38. Click the red close button.
39. Click Save...
40. Enter a name for the report.
41. Click Save.
The report is saved in ~/Library/Application
Support/Daylite/Templates.
~ is a variable for that person's home folder. (The little house -
in this case "Production")
If you need to use this report on another Mac you will need to copy
this report to that computer into the same location (where ~ is a
that person's home folder.)
