You can easily set up your Google Adwords account Google
Adwords.
Once you've signed up or logged in, create a new campaign:
- Step 1: General > Name you Campaign: (Name this your product
offering).
- Step 2: Location and Languages > Choose "Let me choose" -
You'll have to type each individual country to choose your ideal
geographic regions. However if you're looking to target English
speaking audiences simply select languages, and click the English
check box only.
- Step 3: Networks/Devices > Choose "Let me choose" - Click
"Google search" you can advertise on search partners of the display
network but in my experience you are more susceptible to click
fraud or unqualified click throughs who will simply bounce due to a
lack of interest in your product. Google search offers the highest
quality in traffic.
- Step 4: Bidding and Budget > Choose "Focus on Clicks",
Manual bidding for clicks. This means you will be setting a max bid
for each individual keyword based on their competition. In the long
run this gives you the best value per click. You will set your max
CPC bid in the keyword section later. Then set your campaign
budget, this is the amount you are willing to spend per 24 hour
period - we recommend starting at $10 per day.
-
- +Delivery Method > I usually use the default here "Show ads
evenly over time".
- Step 5: Advanced Settings: You can explore the advanced setting
to experiment if you want to build out your campaign in unique
ways. I suggest this only for intermediate Adwords users.
NOTE: Be sure to pause your campaign until this milestone is
complete.
