• Join the Global Hackathon (information below);
• If you are part of a business, think about connecting with a local hackathon to offer a prize (doesn't have to be cash) or access to industry experts of communities who could benefit from the outputs of the hackathon
• Support the local winners
  
• Look into organizing your own hackathon (there is now a slack community supporting people who want to organize and sharing virtual best practices)
