Before you use Horizon Client to directly connect to the installed RDSH server, you must configure it to expose both the desktop and applications.

The following steps apply to Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. For configuration in Windows 2012, refer to Remote Desktop Services in Windows 2012.

1. Open RemoteApp Manager from Start > Administrative Tools > Remote Desktop Services > RemoteApp Manager. Click RD Session Host Server Settings Change.

2. The RemoteApp Deployment Settings window appears. Select Show a remote desktop connection to this RD Session Host server in RD Web Access.

Click OK to close the windows.

3. Click Add RemoteApp Programs on the Actions pane. The RemoteApp Wizard window appears. Click Next.

4. The Choose programs window appears. Choose your programs and click Next.

5. The Review Settings window appears. Review your settings and click Finish.

6. The added RemoteApp Programs are listed.
